1. For Pete's Sake

Pete and Gladys Porter move into their new home in Westwood, CA. Things get off to a rocky start when Pete clashes with his new neighbor.

2. Crime of Passion

A dance instructor wants Pete to join in Gladys' dancing lessons.

3. The Bavarian Wedding Chest

Pete brings home a huge Bavarian wedding chest.

4. The Handyman

Pete decides to prove that he is a match for anyone as a handyman.

5. Movie Bug

Unknown to Peter, Gladys lets a movie company use the Porter residence for some exterior shots, then asks for a part.

6. Oo-La-La

Pete persuades a French girl to do a charity number at a benefit.

7. The Goat Story

A man from the animal pound is after Tommy's pet goat, so Gladys and Hilda help out.

8. Pete's Personality Change

Pete loses a big sale, so his boss calls in a psychologist to put some life back into his salesmanship.

9. Camping Out

Pete and Howie want to go on a camping trip, but they have to prove to their wives that they are tough enough to rough it.

10. Bowling Brawl

Pete thinks it is time Gladys and her Uncle Paul end their long feud, but Gladys decides she has got to prove she is a good sport.

11. Pete Takes Up Golf

Pete wants to join the country club to play golf, but Gladys won't join him for social reasons.

12. Gladys and the Piggy Bank

It is the Coltons' anniversary and Pete and Gladys decide to buy them a cheap gift in return for the one the Coltons got for them.

13. No Man is Japan

Pete may become manager of a Tokyo branch, so he arranges for a Japanese exchange student to move in and teach him Japanese customs.

14. Misplaced Weekend

Pete and Gladys want to get away from it all and spend a few days in Palm Springs, so Gladys uses a scheme on Pete's boss to get him out of work, only to find the boss himself in Palm Springs.

15. Gladys Rents the House

Gladys wants a Hawaiian vacation, so she rents a room to a couple of Pete's friends who are in town for a convention.

16. Glady's Political Campaign

Gladys campaigns for the presidency of the women's civic league.

17. Cousin Violet

Gladys' Cousin Violet, a fat girl, has sent Gladys' photo to her Navy pen pal implying it is a picture of herself.

18. The House Next Door

The house next door is empty but Gladys does a good turn by renting it for a friend.

19. The Insurance Faker

Gladys uncovers evidence which seems to show that an insurance company is bilking its policyholders.

20. Skin Deep (a.k.a.) The Great Stone Face

Pete gets a raise and a reduction in his workload. He just tells Gladys about the reduction and she thinks less work means less money, so she decides to get a job.

21. The Six Musketeers

Pete and Gladys have planned a weekend in the mountains, but they have to share the cabin with two other couples.

22. Panhandler

Gladys attends a dress rehearsal of a community play. After the rehearsal, Gladys goes home but without any money.

23. Gladys Opens Pete's Mail

To discourage Gladys from opening his mail, Pete writes a phony letter to himself claiming he is in deep trouble.

24. The Garage Story

Gladys forces Pete to take her father to work with him and then suggests he get Pop a job.

25. The Orchid Story

Pete learns Pop has been sending off complaint letters to the city government, so Pop decides it is time for a change, to start growing orchids instead of writing letters.

26. Secretary for a Day

Gladys wants to run off a batch of resumes for her job-hunting father, but Pete won't allow her to use his duplicating machine.

27. The Fur Coat Story

It's Pete and Gladys' anniversary and Gladys wants a fur coat, but Pete wants a motorboat.

28. Peaceful in the Country

Pete and Gladys are going to spend the weekend at his boss' cabin in the mountains so that Pete can show the place to a couple of prospective buyers.

29. Junior

Gladys convinces Pete that they should care for his friend's seven-year-old child, but Junior turns out to be a chimp.

30. Gladys Cooks Pete's Goose

Gladys always garbles Pete's business messages and she is determined to make up for it.

31. A Study in Gray

Pete's painter cancels out on him, so Gladys decides Pop should paint his den.

32. Pop's Girlfriend

Pop inherits an estate and decides to move into an apartment of his own. Gladys doesn't want Pop to get lonely so she tries to get him a roommate.

33. Ring-a-Ding-Ding

At a party, Gladys loses an expensive ring in one of the hors d'oeuvres.

34. The Mannequin Story (a.k.a.) The Mankin Merry-Go-Round

35. The Projectionist

Gladys' Cousin Violet returns, still trying to trap a man, so Gladys begins a program designed to reduce her overweight relative.

36. Gladys Goes to College

Gladys goes to school to learn Spanish. Pete, overestimating her progress, invites some friends to dinner in a Mexican restaurant.
