5. Under a Deadly Spell (2014)

Two best friends, steeped in the California “goth” culture are split apart by a dark, charismatic teen who holds sway over both of them. The teens’ obsession with the dark side goes too far, and one of the BFFs is murdered in what police call a “senseless thrill kill.”
