1. Episode 1

The staff face a flurry of bowel problems, including coeliac disease, cancer and a complete pelvic repair.

2. Episode 2

A paramedic seeks a diagnosis as to why his voice has gone hoarse after he was attacked by a patient. A woman whose young son is very ill seeks advice about depression.

3. Episode 3

When Zenub comes in with an eye irritation, there are many possible diagnoses. Nurse Rosie checks over a patient who recently underwent a knee operation.

4. Episode 4

Dr Cartmill is happy to be back at the 'coalface' after self-isolating following a trip to Italy where she may have been exposed to the coronavirus. Dr Qamar has a consultation with an elderly gentleman who is worried that his memory is deteriorating.

5. Episode 5

Dr Wyne has some advice for Elvira, a Romanian woman, who has brought a cocktail of drugs from her home country to 'treat' her many conditions.

6. Episode 6

A patient visits the surgery with a long list of symptoms, hoping Dr Wyne can rule out that she has had a heart attack. Meanwhile, a man with abdominal pain receives treatment, and a young mother comes in with her two poorly daughters, and also shows Dr Razak the white mottled rash she has had on her chest for over a year.

A toddler with a series of food allergies is brought into the surgery, and Dr Razak is called in to offer a second opinion for a paramedic dealing with a confusing case. Elsewhere, other patients include a man getting a sebaceous cyst removed from his shoulder, and a patient who has been suffering from dizzy spells.

9. Episode 9

An edition looking at the risks associated with being a frontline NHS worker, including a paramedic who is concerned about a hoarse voice he has had for several months, and is worried it could be signs of HIV infection after a patient assaulted him and punctured his skin. Elsewhere, Dr Arif's first patient Mohammed has a painful abscess the size of an apple on his backside.

Dr Ajay Singal is visited by Cyril, an 89-year-old who has a mischievous sense of humour and a loving family around him. Yet when it is time to sleep at night, he gets overwhelmed with anxiety and cannot settle. Can his GP get to the bottom of his problem? Paul comes in complaining of an excruciating pain in his throat, diabetic Paula worries about a sudden dip in her blood sugar levels and railway worker Darren shows Dr Qamar some unsightly lumps on his back.

Inside Hall Green Centre. Dr Ashraf meets with regular patient Anthony, who has lung cancer, to try to provide some relief for his breathing.

Inside Hall Green Health Centre. Brian is an elderly gentleman whose feet have turned an alarming shade of blue. But GP Dr Williams is most worried about Brian's low mood

A student studying for her A-levels is struggling to sit at her desk due to pain in her collar bone, a new mother with hip problems comes in to discuss the cocktail of strong painkillers she is taking to manage her pain, and a man has an annoying growth on his head that bleeds whenever he combs his hair. Dr Wyne discusses the available care options with an elderly gentleman who has mixed dementia and his daughter.

Dr Razak's first patient of the day is Muriel, an elderly woman who recently suffered a mini-stroke. She is reluctant to take her blood pressure medication because she has an aversion to drugs - but as the doctor explains, not doing so could make things even worse. Elaine asks Dr Costigan to give her painful knee a once-over and 92-year-old Elizabeth comes in for her regular heart check-up.

There is drama at the practice when young mother Farheena, who suffers from a long-term lung infection, arrives to see paramedic Kim - only to collapse halfway through the appointment. Kelsi visits the surgery hoping to have an annoying mole removed and Sarup asks about the painful raised skin that has developed around his bypass surgery scar.

The GPs at the Hall Green Health Centre face patients who have already consulted 'Dr Google'. Maryam has been advised by a health app to be screened for bowel cancer.

17. Episode 17

GP's tackle men's health issues at the Hall Green Health Centre. Dr Qamar counsels a journalist named Zahid who has PTSD after being imprisoned and tortured in Afghanistan.

18. Episode 18

A look at how patients should decide whether to go to A&E or a GP, including the case of a patient who has recently completed a course of antibiotics for an insect bite on his face. Other patients include a man with a case of gout that has caused his leg to balloon in size and a woman who needs an over-40s health check owing to her family's history of heart disease.

GPs tackle breast cancer worries at the Hall Green Health Centre. Dr Razak sees Caroline, who has discovered a knotty lump on her collar bone that has got her fearing the worst.

Dr Wyne chats to Adolphus who is struggling to come to terms with the recent deaths of his wife and also his best friend. Dr Qamar visits Elsie who, unexpectedly, lost her husband.

Dr Ashraf speaks to a man who has returned from a holiday in Egypt and may have picked up something with serious repercussions.

24. Episode 24

Dr Emily Crosse sees Pratibha, who is concerned about her failure to lose weight despite only eating salads.

Dr Aftab Arif is faced with an angry patient who refuses to go to hospital for a scan unless the surgery starts dealing with him differently.

Dr Crosse sees Mick, who learns that smoking heavily as a youngster can have an impact on one's health later in life.

Maria seeks a sicknote as she is stressed over her family's health. Blind patient Pauline needs help with her eye drops. Bethan is fitted with an IUD.

The doctors and nurses at the practice take measures to minimise the over-prescription and overuse of antibiotics in the face of a looming crisis.

With appointments lasting just 10 minutes, our GPs have the difficult task of deciding what to prioritise and what can safely wait for another day.

Meanwhile, regular patient Shirley is in to see Dr Aireen Razak to talk about a recent mental health relapse, and David comes in to see Dr Nashat Qamar to discuss his recent hospital stay and the frightening chest pains he had been experiencing

A diabetic patient whose blood sugars have risen to dangerous levels visits the surgery, and is told he needs to make drastic changes to how he manages his condition. Other patients include a man who is concerned about a lump in his groin, and a woman who has decided to stop taking her medication for her various heart conditions

The staff at Hall Green Health Centre are dealing with the aftermath of patient falls. Dr Razak’s first patient Michael has a nasty bruise on his arm after falling in his driveway.

Regular elderly patient Catherine, has come in about her dizziness and balance issues.

Due to the UK’s ageing population, GPs now spend around 20% of their week consulting on joint related symptoms. These can become quite debilitating for many patients.
